JOB SUMMARY
The Litigation Paralegal works closely with partners, counsel, and associates in the Litigation Department to support litigation matters across all phases, from case inception through trial and appeal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Litigation Paralegal will primarily be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
• Litigation Support & Case Management
o Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and post-trial proceedings. Manage case calendars, track court deadlines, filing dates, and hearings across multiple active matters. Draft, proofread, and revise legal documents including complaints, answers, motions, subpoenas, stipulations, notices, and correspondence. Coordinate and manage e-filing in state and federal courts including NYSCEF and PACER. Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring materials are current and accessible.
• Discovery & Document Management
o Coordinate and manage document review and production in response to discovery requests, including working with Relativity and other document review platforms. Organize, digest and index deposition transcripts, exhibits, and expert materials. Liaise with vendors for document review, service of process, and court reporting. Manage privilege logs and assist with redaction review.
• Trial Preparation & Administrative Support
o Assist with trial preparation including organizing trial binders, exhibit lists, witness files, and demonstrative materials. Attend court appearances, depositions, and mediations as needed. Conduct factual and legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner. Provide general administrative support to assigned attorneys including managing correspondence, scheduling, and billing-related tasks.
• Other Ad hoc projects and assignments as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The qualifications and experience listed below are required to perform this job:
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate and experience.
• 2 plus years of (litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment, preferably supporting commercial, employment, or general civil litigation.
• Proficiency in NYSCEF, PACER, Westlaw, LexisNexis, Relativity, and Microsoft Office Suite required. Experience with iManage or similar document management systems a plus.)
• Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple active matters simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience with e-filing in New York state and federal courts (NYSCEF and PACER) required. Familiarity with Relativity, iManage, or similar litigation support platforms strongly preferred.

• This position is a hybrid position based out of our New York, NY office, with 3 days onsite (Monday is a mandatory onsite day).
SALARY RANGE
$60,000 – $70,000 based on experience
