JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking to add a senior level Real Estate attorney to join our Real Estate group. The attorney must have extensive experience in commercial leasing in the retail and office sector and have some basic skills in acquisition and financing work. This role will be located in our New York office.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize commercial lease agreements for retail, office and other commercial properties
· Represent landlords and tenants in lease negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and mitigating legal and financial risks. Our practice is generally more focused on landlord-side representation.
· Support acquisitions, sales, and financing transactions.
· Provide strategic legal guidance to developers, property owners, and corporate tenants throughout all phases of commercial leasing.
· Excellent writing, advocacy, strategic thinking and organization skills to serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
· Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York.
· 8 plus years of real estate practice experience, with a strong background in lease negotiations.
· Excellent analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills.
· Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
· Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

· This position is a hybrid position based out of our New York office, with 3 days onsite (Monday is a mandatory onsite day).
SALARY RANGE
$260 - $315 depending on experience.
